Westminster College: Close the Distance: Greek for good

Westminster College: Close the Distance: Greek for good WESTMINSTER COLLEGE: BE A PART OF SOMETHING REAL

Westminster College isn't quite the same in a world of social distancing, but even though we're apart, that doesn't mean we're not together.

Like most colleges across the United States, Westminster College has closed its doors for the remainder of the semester in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic. As a result, students are finishing the semester by taking online classes. While our faculty and administration are all working hard to make sure our students get the most they can out of remote learning, the students are inevitably missing campus, their friends and the last few weeks of their senior years at college.

Aimed to help our students and our community feel connected despite the social distancing, Close the Distance brings Westminster College together via FaceTime, Teams and social media to create a virtual campus.

Westminster may be still, but we're still Westminster.

This week's episode of Close the Distance features updates on this year's successful (virtual) Greek Week fundraising.
