Magneto Water Damage (Motorized Bike)

In this video we test the effects water can have on a magneto by hitting with water and riding in the rain.
Many people think that getting water into the magneto compartment can short out the system.
Although magnetos are fragile components that can fail do to heat, vibration, and corrosion, it's unlikely that you will ever short one out by getting it wet.
