The ethics behind “Black Lives Matter” movement | ETHICS FOR UPSC | EDEN IAS The gruesome killing of African-American citizen George Floyd has reopened the wounds of racism. Floyd, a 46-year-old restaurant worker from Houston, died in Minneapolis on 25 th of May 2020 after a white police officer pinned him to the ground on the charge of using a counterfeit $20 bill. Floyd’s last words- “I can’t breathe” has stirred the conscience of every moral being.


EDEN IAS through this article and video has tried to highlight the ethical angle behind the #BLACKLIVESMATTER (BLM) movement.
