Over 500 residents of Nduru, Kisumu County are benefiting from medical services at Nduru Secondary school. The medical camp comes in handy as doctors and nurses in Kisumu have gone on strike over delayed salaries. Speaking during the free medical camp event Caritas Kenyan Kisumu branch director Fr Samuel Nyataya said the exercise will benefit flood victims who are prone to water-borne diseases and malaria. In partnership with AAR Insurance and health workers from Catholic Mission hospitals they are able to handle other kinds diseases lifestyle diseases such as diabetes
