A global crisis effecting shops and malls worldwide, we are in Kuala Lumpur the capital of Malaysia and a city unrivalled for shopping both in South East Asia and across the Globe. Kuala Lumpur is home to some of the biggest malls in the world.
With the lockdown easing and the shoppers beginning to return, we have a look at how shops are coping with the effects of the global outbreak of Covid-19. We walk around some of the malls that we previously used to see very very busy with customers ranging from locals through to global travellers.
Last week we saw the streets the busiest they have been over the last two months with shoppers shopping for the National Holiday: Hari Raya celebration last week.
We do a walk around the malls before making a comparison in the video on how the pandemic has changed our shopping habits and whether the future is online.
Let us know your thoughts? Have you been shopping online and will you return to shopping malls when the crisis is over (if it is ever over)
Once again, thank you for having us in Malaysia during the lockdown. Great country, great food and amazing people.
