A common issue with making content on YouTube is the time consumption of things. The thing about making content as a content creator is that you have to invest so much time and be constantly working on new things in order to be successful. You need to constantly be thinking of new innovative ways to grow and stand out on YouTube, otherwise you don't get noticed at all. As for Twitch, there is no algorithim for you to be noticed or found on you just end up getting drowned out by everyone streaming above you! People are more likely to click on a stream higher than you then someone with 0 or 1 viewers! a basic algorithim could help you grow on twitch and prevent burnout!
