Abu Dhabi: Residents experiencing Covirus symptoms can now get tested for free of charge in the least healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi emirate, the Department of Health (DoH) announced today (May 3).

In addition, free tests are available in the least facilities, for the elderly, pregnant women, and people with chronic diseases.

Today’s announcement means COVIRUS-19 tests are now being conducted at public and personal hospitals and clinics, additionally to those at drive-through screening centres travel by Abu Dhabi’s public health provide, the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha).

Other residents who wish to verify they're virus-free must pay Dh370 to urge tested, the DoH said during a statement.

“Testing is one among the key steps to curbing the spread of the virus and one among the foremost influential preventative measures to take care of the health and wellbeing of the community. This has pushed all [public and personal facilities] to return together [and] further expand the size of covirus screening services, thus ensuring its availability and straightforward access to all or any members of the community,” the statement added.
