Pakistan Army begins testing domestically-produced 40mm automatic grenade launcher (AGL) named PAK-40.

The launcher has a range of 2200 meters, weighs around 41 kgs.

The launcher can also be equipped with night vision or thermal sights.

It fires 40mm greandes with a lethal radius of 10 meters and is capable of firing multiple types of grenades.

The AGL was also tested for compatibility with RDM Ammunition at RDM South Africa in March 2016.
